The Meaning of LOVE

Tonight I was emailed a link to an MSNBC video of Keith Oberman's views on the passing of Section 8 in California. Section 8, among other things, redefines marriage as being solely between a man and a woman, therefore making the prospect of gay marriage even harder to fight for in the state of California.

My father is gay. I have gay and lesbian friends. I consider myself bisexual, because I don't feel the need to limit myself in my search for love because other people don't understand. I never understood the level of prejudice some people show. That they would limit who was allowed to legally show their LOVE.

I have never found anything else that can more accurately and eloquently express my views on this issue than Keith Oberman's video address has done. It is emotional, powerful, and moving. It should be seen. It should be shared.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27652443#27652443

This just needs to be said... but I don't want to contact the person in question personally. Cross posted on my MySpace page.

To whom it may concern:
I am deeply troubled that your still projecting your delusions on other people, but at this point I can't deal with any of it. You are not to call me, IM me, email me, or contact me in ANY way, shape, or form any more. And, I don't know what you're planning on doing with your fucked up DM project, but if I am shown on video, or if you use my voice, image, or likeness I will not hesitate to sue you. I want NOTHING to do with you anymore. And if those videos are already up, I want you to remove them as soon as possible.

And as an added warning, if you do contact me, I'm getting a restraining order against you.

---

I am seriously sick and tired of hearing about all the shit that's still going on. I need to concentrate on my schoolwork so I can fucking pass. And if this doesn't get through, may 5 minutes alone with my dad will, because I'm fucking done.

Okay, from now on, my journal is going to be friends only. There is some craziness going on in my life right now, and I'd like a place to vent about it that isn't broadcast everywhere and still lets me inform my friends of how I'm doing. Most of the people concerned in this are my friends already, but if you want to view my journal, comment and I'll decided whether or not to add you...

Banner created by babbled.

Yes, I know.. shame on me for not updating more often. For what it's worth... Belated Happy Holidays! Okay. I had a kick ass Yule/Christmas. Our little Yule gathering was so awesome. Jeremy got a cat for polyanna!! His present topped all the others, but I liked mine. Craz got me a floating candle set with Sandlewood candles ^^! 'Anna got us all gifts, even though she didn't want to be part of the polyanna(she would have gotten us all something anyway.. I mean, come on! This is -'Anna- we're talking about). Megan gets to sleep with Jack Sparrow every night via her new pillow case. I didn't really get to see what Chrissy and Rav got, but I got Craz a Sandlewood-Vanilla candle. Yes.. I am aware that we both had eachother for polyanna and that we got eachother something Sandlewood. It was actually a little creepy..lol. I have to go and visit Anya, Jeremy's cat. She's adorable! She's about a year old, but she's pretty small. Dinner was amusing.. many old stories getting told and jokes being shared. The meat eaters got screwed, though. It was a strictly vegetarian meal. Damn you Meg!! If only you hadn't gone vegetarian we might have had an aregument for a proper amount of meat! You left Rav and me hanging! lol.. it was really good anyway. Just lacking in protein.

Christmas.. now that was interesting. Well, the Tursday before x-mas, Drew came over so we could swap presents and hang out. Little bastard. He got me hooked on Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum! *cries* I have too many anime shows to keep track of now.. and I'm seriously falling behind in Manga. He also got me a Millersville shirt.. he was trying to be cute seeing as the MU colors are Black and Gold (like Interboro).

Now, for Christmas itself..what a day. I opened my presents (which all kicked ass, but I'll name later cuz there were a lot), then got dressed in one of my cool new outfits. I went to my Grandma's and opened presents there, then with my Dad. We went to my Step-Aunt and Uncle's house in South Jersey. A two hour ride. We left at 6:30 so we could get to his house for me to open presents there, but we ran out of gas at a Wawa at 7. We were stuck there until 9 when a nice guy gave us just enough gas to get to the nearest open gas station. There was a couple from Philly that had the same problem as us that showed up around 8:30. They came from the same part of NJ as us that night, too. It was weird. We cancelled the call to AAA and got home around 10:30. I opened my presents and around 11, this tow truck guy calls my Dad's cell phone. AAA never called him to cancel our call, so he was at the Wawa looking for us. AAA sucks.

Okay.. now before I get all rambly or run out of time... well, for one.. my computer will be getting a thourough beating, and Drew will be helping me fix it. But more importantly... I got into Albright!! *dances* The Dean of Admissions called the Monday after Christmas to tell me about it! I'm just waiting for my info packet to come in the mail and to hear from the other schools.*dances* Okay... I have a few more minutes, so I'm going to check the 1x2 community ^^.

    <lj:music>Aqueous Transmission - Incubus</lj:music>

*dies* Well, it's raining and I'm, once again, staying in school for another 45 minutes when I shouldn't have to. I don't have a 10th period(our number system is weird, so for those of you who don't know it, that's really 7th period or the last technical clas of the day), but I'm here, in the library, anyway. I have to stay because I have an FBLA meeting after school and I don't have enough time to walk home and do anything before having to walk back again. Stupid me. I should have taken the driver's ed classes and gotten my permit last year. Now I can't go grab my mom's car at the train station and drive around. I need my permit, though..lol. If Casey get's her lisence before me I'm going to illegally drive to Ohio and kick her ass! lol. I will, too.. you wath your back Casey.

Anyway, I might be able to get a job! *dances* Technically, I quit my other job because I didn't have enough time for it, but this one is a lot less hours, but the pay makes up for the time difference. I could get paid to be a geek and know HTML!!! lol. There's a company looking for teenagers(16 and up) with knowledge and/or experiance with HTML. It's 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, so 10 hours a week in all, but it pays $8 and hour! I was only getting $6.50 at Pikes... and that job kicked my ass everyday. Besides... that was 18 hours a week. Way too much time to spend at that awefull place. I just found out about ti today, so hopefully I can talk my mom into letting take it. The only problem is the location. It's up by Widner U, and I have to car to get there, so I'll either need to take a train there, or it'll hopefully start late enough that I can get my mom to drive me there.

I'm really a slacker... I have to finish my college essays. Once those are done, I have to kick Cresta's ass to write my recomendation, plus, I have to get my counselor( the Cheshire Counselor) to write one, along with Dr. Calhoun. Bah.. Dr. Calhoun I can count on, the other two? Not so much. I was going to have Schnellenbach write one for me, but I was so busy I forgot to drop off the info she needed before Thanksgiving break, so she's off the hook, and I'll just deal with the three I'm already getting, just so I don't stress her out and rush her.

I still have 15 mintues to kill, so I'm gonna browse around the internet, maybe poke at some college websites or something. Well, maybe I should start typing up my Tyler essay... lol.. my mom would be happy.

Ahh! I haven't updated in ages. Mainly because my computer was being evil and deleted my internet connection. Plus, the computers at the school(where I'm at right now) have the default computer displays, so it made it hard to actually see and update my page. I have to set the displays back to the way they were before, of course. Knowing the librarian, she may track my down and freak out at me because she wouldn't understand what I did and would want me to "fix" it. I got my internet conection back, btw. I'm still going to reload Windows... just as soon as my fucking computer lets me. The only reason I didn't do it last night while fixing my internet connection was because it wouldn't let me into the right system screens. Fucker. I'm going to try again tonight, now that I know the host name for my Ethernet card. Aww... I just remembered that I'm going to have to remove and re-install my Ethernet card if I reload Windows. Damn it. Getting my tower open was a pain in the ass. I have to remember to lay it on the correct side this time... three sides lift up off the tower when you open it, and the first time I tried I had it laying on one of the sides I had to lift, lol. I had a brain fart, so sue me. Well, at least I know -how- to install it. My mom was yelling at me the first time I put it in because she tought I was pushing down too hard and that the card woudl break, lol. She actually told me that if it wasn't going to go in smoothly then it shouldn't be there I was trying to put it into the wrong place. First off, there was no where else to put it that it would even -remotely- fit, and it's suppose to fit that tightly. That way, it doesn't fall out or get easily knocked out of place.. stupid parents with their lack of computer knowledge.

Wow, it looks like I'm writing a lot, and I still have it on 1060x728, so the text looks really small. Oh well, you all can deal with my rambling. Most of you do it in person or over the phone well enough.

Thanksgiving was quite amusing. Interboro kicked the living crap out of Ridley ^^! I've only been to two Interboro v. Ridley Thanksgiving games, and both times, Interboro has won! Apparently I'm quite lucky for Coach Lennox on Thanksgiving. We wiped the floor with Ridley... 330 to 0! I was busy all weekend, too. I went to Ryan's on Friday night; which turned into a heated game of Trivial Pursuit, then to Pondo's ceremony thing on Saturday (Pondo became and Eagle scout! Yeay! lol), then I went out to shopping on Sunday ^^. My favorite activity, of course. I returned a pair of pants I had gotten from Urban Outfitters that were too big, but they didn't have the jeans, or any others near that price range, so I settled for getting twop books(Bible About My Friends and 101 Things to do Before You Die), a cool question game(What the F*ck), and christmas cards ^^. Urban Outfitters is the greatest store..lol. Just wait until those lucky 12 of you get your Christmas cards! You'll -love- them! Though, I do believe the ones I got from Hot Topic last year were classic, and my never be topped. I may even have to get another set of cards from there again so I have cards to give to all the other people who aren't of the lucky 12 and my family...seeing as -none- of my family are one of the 12. Well, Casey is, but she's more of a best friend than family, mainly because she's not crazy like the rest of 'em.

The Lucky 12:
Drew Steve
Jeanette Christa
Lily Megan
Pondo Casey
Juli Ash
Jenny Sharon

The rest of you may get Hot Topic cards... I'm not sure yet..lol. Okay.. I gotta go. I have to put the display settings back and go pick up work for my German class. Plus, I have a Senior Class Congress meeting(I think).

Weeee! It's the day before Samhain(halloween)! I had my art class today. We drew the ceiling ><;;. It was really hard! We had to make sure our perspectives were interesting and all our angles were right. The ceiling is made up of nothing but huge vents and pipes and boxes and beams and lights. Doing that in perspective sucks, but mine turned out okay. I didn't get to finish darkening everything. You'd think I would be able to finish a piece of artwork in three hours, but it's so much harder than it sounds. I have to finish my self portrait for AP Art this weekend. All I have to o is paint it, I've got the rest all layed out in pencil. I have AP Calc homework, too, so I have to divide my time ><.

It's Jon's birthday tomorrow, too! We're going out to dinner tonight and then out to breakfast with his parents tomorrow. Then we're going to the King of Prussia mall... I love that place. It's gynormous!! There are two buildings that have two floors each. There have to be close to 50-60 stores. The Vans store even has a freakin' half pipe in the back!

Bah.. When I get home I have to finish cleaning out the crap on my computer so I can re-load AIM and my printer. once that's done, and I make sure it works right, I can load Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I have enough plugs to keep my scanner plugged in! lol.. no more unplugging the phone to scan stuff! We got a new desk, and everything fits on it, so no more stupid little tables holding the printer and hte scanner and all that crap.

Alright, I'm gonna go so I can be ready for dinner soon.

Ahhhh! Lily's gonna kill me! I haven't updated in forever! I've been so damned busy! I have class congress, the Web site for FBLA, plus now we have the regional workshop comin gup (which is at Ridley, btw) and then regionals after that. I have to do a web page with a group of people for regionals, but no one else wants to do it or has the html experiance. bah! My week has been crazy. I just FINALLY got my computer fixed! I've been at school until 3-3:30 everyday except Wednesday, and tomorrow I'll be there till about 4:30-5! Monday I had an executive FBLA meeting, then Tuesday I had the -actual- FBLA meeting, then I had to be home Wednesday by 2 to meet the cable guy (who came early and I was glad I was home), then today I had to go gree the New German teacher(come back Frau!!) and go to an Art Service Club meeting to make a freakin' pumpkin, and tomorrow I have to hunt down Hugh for my "Let's go bananas, we're seniors" t-shirt and pay him, then wait around to get my picture taken for something to do with FBLA.

I think FBLA is a conspiracy. It was set in place to steal all free, social time away from students so that they become anal, work obssed millionares with no friends. And I'd rather have friends.

Oh yeah, I also had an AP Calculus test that spanned Monday, Tuesday, AND Wednesday!! Oh Shit!! And I forgot I have to be at the football game Friday night to help sell food and drinks ><;;! At least I have my ungodly easy classes like Government and English. Well, AP Art is easy, but Cresta gets anal when you don't work fast enough, and I still owe her artwork.

On a good note: Sunday was Drew and my two year annaversary! ^^! I'm quite excited. Though, I didn't get to call him because of all this shit going on. I'm going to call him Friday night.. and make him stay on the phone for as long as possible, which, with us has gotten up to three hours solid once. Pretty damn long for two people who really hate to talk on the phone, ne?

I need a breather, but On Saturday I will be at my art class for three hours. Though, we did a really cool project last week where we drew emotions, nine in all. I thought they came out quite nice, and you learn so many things about how different people think about things and how emotions are controlled with different people when you make them draw it out. The nine emotions: joy, depression, masculinity, femaninity, anger, passion, unity, confusion, and peacefulness. The teacher kept them to look them over, so we get them back this week. We also did a contour drawing of plants using different thicknesses of lines to suggest light. That was cool, too, but I wasn't the happiest with mine.

I'm dressing up in my Halloween costume for school tomorrow. It's our Halloween spirit day, so it's either that or black and orange. I got pictures of me wearing my Punk Fairy outfit ^^ and they are quite cute, it I do say so myself. Juli is going to send them to me. She got my ticket for the HIM concert! Go Juli! You are my hero!

'Anna, Craz, Kai, we -really- need to get together and hang out. I haven;t seen you guys in forever! And I want my "I love my gay dad" pin! lol! I need to hang out with Jeanette, Ash, and Amanda, too. I miss everyone! And when Drew comes home for Thanksgiving, he's -coming- to the football game.. he just has no choice in the matter.

Okay, I should go and stop yammering before I bore you all. I will update soon....?

I have been to school for four days so far. Though, I don't really think Friday counted as a full day. Unfortunately, I was at a good friend's funeral Friday morning. You know what I find to be very ironic; that a straight edge, supposidly healthy as a horse 19 year old can just die of a heart attack one morning. It's really not fair. The world is missing out on an awesome person, and there is an enormous group of students, faculty, friends, and family who feel pity on the rest of the world for never getting to meet him. I know I'm being vague, but that's on purpose. If you don't understand who I'm talking about, you don't need to.

On a much lighter note... school has actually been going very well. I'm the new (well, first) webmaster for FBLA, so I'll be busy with that. I have to talk to Mrs. Barcaro tomorrow so I can figure out what she wants the web site to look like, or if she wants me to host and update the small site she made in her Flash class. Hopefully I will be president of Art Service Club. And I have to talk to Brian... I told him we would be having a meeting next week, but Cresta told me that she wasn't sure if we could have the club, so the meeting might be cancelled. My AP classes are going good, and I love my English class. Infact, I'm going to Mrs. Orloff's room during first period to help her grade our summer reading tests.

Drew called me yesterday! ^^! I was surprised and happy. He had just been able to get into his e-mail, so he didn't get to read the e-mail I had sent him awhile ago until yesterday. I was gonna call him today, but I got tied up with everything else, and I figured I'd let him sleep tonight since he has class tomorrow ^^. But that doesn't mean I won't bother the hell out of him tomorrow! lol. He's coming home for Columbus Day weekend for his "fall Break". Why don't we get fall breaks? lol.

I'm off to surf around and amuse myself for a while.

*dies* My computer has been invaded by some serious spyware. Now, I've finally gotten my computer to a state that I can download a free Spyware Search and Distroy ^^! And it won't get rid of anything I don't tell it to get rid of, which is cool. I do have to run the program manually, but trust me, it'll be run bi-weekly after what this computer's been through. *pets computer and comforts* I couldn't stand to dump this computer, even if I have all my stuff backed up. I still couldn't do it. I love this computer. I'm sure I'll feel quite sad when I have to leave for college and take my Mac laptop with me *sigh*. I'll still come home and visit my computer, of course. Along with my friends and family too....><;;. I just hope this really helps. I already see that there's some pretty nasty stuff on my computer that doesn't need to be there... and it's not done yet.

I actually had a thought to set up a LJ account for Drew. Now wouldn't that be funny? Drew with a LJ? *cackles* He'd never use it. He'd probably forget his password before long. It would be neat though. I get to see what he's doing at college without bothering him via phone, ne? Neither of us really like to chat it up on the phone, either. It would be amusing, though. Like what kind of layout would he choose? lol! I could get him a Simpsons one, or a Family Guy one...lol. Maybe I should bring it up? lol. I wonder if I could convince him to actually use it.

Wee! All but 7 problems were fixed, but I'm gonna re-start my computer, and I set the thing to run on my next start up, so lets see what else it can do, ne?

School Schedule!!

I got it! I got my school schedule! Finally! Well, they messed it up, but only a little. It looks like I won't be taking German IV unless I take it as a private study class, seeing as I have early release ^^. I also have a Study Hall first period, but I'm going to get that changed to a .5 credit class. I need to make up for some of the credits I loose once I take German IV off my schedule. I need 5.75 credits, and if I just take off German IV, I only have 5.5, so I'll have 6 even if I swap out my study hall. Oh well, I'll try to get either intro to guitar or intro to piano. Or digital photography, I almost forgot we have that now ^^. Here's my schedule as listed on the paper (and I repeat.. it is a little messed up):

Period 1 - Study Hall

Period 2&3 - AP Studio Art

Period 3 - German IV

Period 4/5 - AP Calculus

Period 6 - 2nd Lunch

Period 7/8 - English

Period 9 - US Government & Politics

I have no tenth period! Which means I get out of school around 1-1:15!! *dances* If you noticed the mistake in my scheduling and the reason I have to drop German IV, I'll give you a cookie ^^ lol. Oh yeay! Our school decided to make a few cool changes while we were enjoying our summer break! I'll quote them right from our school letter(can you tell I'm excited?):

If you've passed by, or stopped in to see us this summer, you know it's been a busy place. While the improvements are too numerous to mention all of them, highlights include the replacement of both parking lots and much of the accompanying cement walkway; new student locker faces; updated light and sound system in the auditorium(controlled from a secure booth added in the rear); renovated cafeteria with new wall covering and fresh contemporary paint; three new classrooms and three that have been renovated to improve their functionality, one that will house our totally new digital photography lab; two new conference rooms and a make over for the main office. We believe our students and their families will be impressed with the results and proud of the many improvements.

Of course, they mentioned painting the cafeteria, but not the main walls in the school, which means they're still that ugly green, yellow, and brown tile. For those of you who have never stepped foot in Interboro's cafeteria, here's a little description of what it use to look like: There was (and I'm guessing still is, by the use of the phrase 'wall coverings') carpet on half of the walls, the floor was dirty linolium, and the ceiling was painted black, neon orange, blue, puke green, and brown. Now, doesn't it sound like our school was built in the seventies? 'Cause it was, seriously. I think I have my social studies class in one of the new classrooms, because our school never went into the 300's when numbering classes, but I have room 301. And I think they moved the German room somewhere else, or removated it, either one.

Okay, I'll stop bothering everyone with my stupid school schedule. At least Casey can make fun of me now that I'll be in school soon(she's already in school ^^). Oh yeah! And before I forget, by new rubber ducky icon(which I will be keeping so long as I live) was made by Lipunuska!

Mwahahahahaha!!!! My obsession with rubber duckies has come full circle!! If it looks a little fucked up them you have to have your screen resolution on 1024x768. ^^! I know Jeanette and Lily will be a the most amused. My vacation was AWESOME! I was out on the beach (which was, like, 10ft away) and out in our pool all day. We went shopping and go cart racing. It was awesome. I did almost drown though ><;;. The gracefull Water element all most got killed by the ocean's undertow (I think it was my fault though...). My dog almost drown, too...lol. She ran into the ocean after a swimmer and got smacked down by a wave. We didn't see her come up at first, so my mom and I freaked and ran for the water. She came up by the time we got there, sputtering and doing her cute frantic doggy paddle. She tried to run back in after that, too.

OMFG!!! Our family is crazy! Do you know what happened on our last full day(Friday)?! Well, of course you don't! My Aunt Patty attacked by Aunt Peggy!! My Uncle Ed(peggy's husband) got between them and patty almost pushed him down the stairs!! The fight went on for about an hour! it ended with my Aunt Patty and Uncle Wayne leaving and taking their kids with them. And it was like, 11 at night! My Uncle Wayne was bleeding! Patty bit him!! And do you want to know how the whole thing started? Of course you do! My aunt Peggy went upstairs (the kitchen and living room were on the top floor..don't ask me why) and said, jokingly, "My, it's a little noisy up here!". That was it! That set off my aunt Patty!! It was nuts!

Oh, Jeanette... I have a card that I got for you. I was gonna mail it to you while I was away, but I forgot your address ><;;. Oh well, I'll give it to you the next time I see you (probably at school).

Our schedules are getting mailed out tomorrow!! And we start on the 9th... does that make sense to you? I didn't think so....

I should go and check my e-mails..since I haven't done that yet, and update my RP ^^!

I'm sad. Today is my last day of my computer class, so that means I have to go back to high school soon. I still haven't gotten my schedule, either. Bah, Drew leaves for college on the 28th, so I technically only have a little over a week to see him. I got on vacation to Nags Head on the 21st. I finished our web site! It's at The Skanky Pirates.

My Gundam Wing RPG is starting up! There are still a lot of characters that need to be filled if anyone wants to fill them. Just go to Gundamwingac and join the community. As soon as I can, I'm gonna post as Duo ^^. I love my Duo icons, they're so adorable! My journal for Duo's IC thoughts is Duo_Maxwell1327.

I should be going over to Juli's today so we can finally practice. And Lily, I promise to update my journal more often so you can keep up with what's going on while you're away at college ^^.

Okay, I should go find something to do with myself. I have an hour before the parents start to come.

lol... sorry, but this is what happens when I have nothing to do in Computer class.... That wouldn't be problem if -certain people- would send me any pictures they have for our Skanky Pirates web site!!! *shakes fist!* okay now, I was actually trying to look for the place you can find the extra codes to make a new journal. I want to make a journal for my GW RPG so that you can read Duo's thoughts... kinda literally..lol. I couldn't find it, and I got bored, so I changed my layout. I wanted a different one, but apparently my free account doesn't support it *la sigh* Anyway, can someone help me find where the code is? I should have one. If not, I'm seriously thinking about getting a paid account.. they're not that much. And you can do a whole lot more.

And to whom it may concern... Send me pictures and stuff damn it!!! You want a web site or not? I only have so much more time before class is over. and you all know how unpredictable my computer can be. Jenny, I will send you money for the pictures if you need it. I get paid Wednesday, and I need -something-. And I work until that day, so i doubt I'll be able to be at the meeting...unless someone can pick me up, but if so, I need warning! My mom must know where the hell I'm going.

I.Hate.Cass. I never want to work with her ever again. Today I was training for register, so I went in from 5:40-8:15. Well, since we got a new mac machine thing, I've been about the only person who's figured out how to use it (mainly because I didn't have to worry about learning the old one). Cass kept screwing up the Visa and Mac stuff and we can't use the Access cards (some kind of system error). She told me to study the buttons on the register. Honestly. She's been working there for 20 or so years, and she STILL doesn't know where half the buttons are or what they do!!! -I- know more about that fucking register! And Rachel and Jess M were playing rummy, and I usually play with them, and they went to deal my hand and Cass freaked out and asked me if I wanted to train or play cards! THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE STORE! We were dead! All night! Now, I only get trained for two days, and Cass wanted to wait to tell me just to turn off the lights that had the orange tags. I mean, come on! And she wanted to wait to show me the security code for the alarm. I kinda need to see that more than once ya fucking ding bat! Grrr! I'm telling Rob on Saturday not to train anyone else with her. I'm stuck, but I'll be damned if I let Jess M, Britt, and Beth go through that shit. She honestly treated me like I was a retard. Like I couldn't mulitask. Old bitch.

Oh! I also wanted to say how good my computer was ^^. It let me on with out a huge bit of trouble *pats*. Good Computer. Honestly I think it can hear me, because when ever I compliment it, it works, lol. From now on, I'll say only good things to my computer until I can fix it up. I'd feel bad wiping the system, after all we've been through together *lol*. I seriously would feel bad, though.

We have an Air! Weeee! We all love you for agreeing to join us Crista^^. You're helping to balance our circle a little more. Now 3/4 of The Skanky Pirates are wiccan..lol. Anywho. Oh! You know that awesome thunder storm Tuesday night? ^^ That was us. It took me a while, and a great deal of concentration, but I made it -poor-. Jenny was trying to help balance all of us, but she got too excited and jumped in her pool during the storm..lol. That's probably why there was so much lightning..we do have 2 Fires. And Crista, you did too make a good breeze! You may not have felt it, but I did. We had a lot of fun; running around in the rain.. getting bit by mosquittos before we actually got it to poor...which I -still- itch from.

*cries* I'm starting to get sad. Drew leaves for college around August 28th. I'll be away on vacation that whole week, infact, I'll be driving back from Nag's Head, NC that exact day. Hopefully he can come over tomorrow.. or we can go out somewhere. I want to see him as much as possible. And yes, I know I'm being all clingy, but he'll get over it. We're trying to stay together while he's away, so cross your fingers. *sigh* okay.. now I'm really getting sad, so I'm gonna stop now.

    <lj:music>"Slow Down" - Ben Jelen</lj:music>

I went to the Hanson concert last night! Juli never told me who the opening bands were, so when I saw the board I was like, "WHAT?! Ben Jelen is opening?!?!" I practically wet myself! I love Ben Jelen! I'm listening to the new CD right now, actually ^^. I bought the CD and got a few poster and tank top! *Dances* And Ben signed my CD jacket and poster for me ^^. I wanted to meet the other opening band (Ingram Hill). They were really good, but the ass whole press guy said they were only signing Cds, and I didn't have enough money to buy their CD and Ben's, so obviously Ben won. Juli got their CD and when she met them she told us that they were really nice, and that they were signing whatever was handing to them. She gave them the SkankyPirates LJ address, so they said they'd check it out.

Yes, that's right. Our band now has a LJ. It's SkankyPirates, one again. We'll all be posting in it (and we'll tell you who's posting so you won't be confused), but soon we might be getting a community for it, so you guys can post, too ^^. Our plan is that if you join the community you'll be an automatic Street Team member and you get to hear about cool stuff, like shows we're playing or new merchandise, before anyone else ^^. Juli will be loading auto files and stuff, too, so you'll be able to hear some of our songs. We're writing a whole bunch of songs right now, so we'll hopefully be recording them sometime soon.

Back to the concert! Hanson kicked ass!!! But that's a given ^^. Oh! And Ben Jelen's last song was a cover of Let It Be by the Beatles! It was an amazing cover! I was tempted to call Drew while they were playing it, but we got in trouble for that (Juli was leaving herself a message..lol). Ben's cute, too ^^. He looks exactly like Taylor Hanson, but a little taller (by and inch or so) and he has black hair ^^. And he plays violin! He switched from guitar to violin in the middle of a song!

For the Hanson set, we had a prime spot to the right of the stage (if you were facing the stage, that is). We ound out that that's actually where you got back stage, lol. Ben Jelen and a few members of Ingram Hill were walking past us to get backstage. Jessica (Hanson's oldest little sister) passed us a few times to get more t-shirts and stuff for the merchandise booth. Jessica and Kate (Zac's GF) were selling the stuff, lol. Juli told Jessica that she had a gay friend that thougth she was hot (Steve said she was hot and another concert.. before he knew she was a Hanson..lol). Jessica looked a little scared, but Juli told her it was a good compliment.

Hanson played a awesome mix of old and new songs. They busted out Where's The Love!! lol. They also played Mmmbop, but they play that at every concert. They played my two favorite songs; Lost Without Eachother and Dancin' In The Wind! It was really amazing. They also did a cover of Ain't No Sunshine, which was awesome! Ike sang the lead (having the deepest voice). It was so good.. that I think even Drew would postpone the death sentance he's set for them just a little longer if I asked..lol. It was just amazing.

Juli decorated a little sippy cup for Taylor's son, Ezra. It was really cute ^^. She was going to wait after the show (we were gonna wait with her of course) to give the sippy cup to Natalie (Taylor's wife). Juli said Hanson takes forever to get out of a concert venue, though, and we were all beat from jumping around.

Oh! One of Juli's friends got to interview them before the concert and take the pictures during the show! She asked Hanson if they could any creature from LOTR, what would they be. Lol.. Zac wanted to be Faramir, Taylor wanted to be Shadowfax *cracks.. funny story behind that..*, and Ike wanted to be Gimli, lol! And she said Ezra ran into the room during their interview crying and yelling for his daddy (awww... cute, adorable, little Ezra). Natalie came in after him and got him, lol.

Well, all in all we had a really awesome time, even if Meg didn't know how to get onto I95 South.. and I became the backseat navagator ><.. Hey, I got us home, so no jokes about how bad my directions are! I know the Center City to Penn's Landing area well enough to know how to get to the highway. Like I said, I got us home. Meg was trying to get onto I95 North. I was like, "NO!! You'll take us to Camden!" lol.

Alright, enough blabbing for me ^^!

Bah!!!! I'm so damned tired! I've been working my ass off! It'll get even worse come Monday. I start art school on Monday, so I'll be catching the 7:27am train into the city Mon-Thurs, just to get to class by 9. The later train (8:37am) won't give me enough time to walk up to Moore, so I need to get the early one. At least I'll have time to stop and get some breakfast at the fresh fruit stands or in Liberty One at the food court. Or maybe even the cool little coffee shop off of Walnut, who knows. I need to get a bag or something to take to class with me that'll hold all my stuff. I want to fit my current porfolio (a converted army bag..lol) with a strap so I can throw it over my shouler. It'll just make it easier to carry to and from school (my high school) or carry it anywhere else I need to. I'm going to stay at Taylor for the first week or so. I just want to see if I'll be able to handle art school and working sic days a week. If I can't, then I'll have to stop working at Taylor. Though, I can't disappear. I promised Judy I would come back every so often and let her see some of the work I'm doing and let her help me with my portfolio come application time. She's a Fine Arts major, so she can help me weed out some stuff, along with Cresta, of course.

Well, today it was really busy at Taylor (it's an outpatient day, so that happens) so I ended up getting out 20 minutes late, and I didn't call my mom. Well, I really didn't have the time, and I feel bad using the phones down in radiology. Anyway, She asked the lady at the front dsk if she saw me, and they looked at the sign out chart. My name was on there from Tuesday, but the lady didn't check the date, and told my mom I had already signed out. Well, she was pissed of course. By the time I got upstairs, she had gone home for a while and come back. I'm not allowed out today (which Craz, Rav, and 'Anna just found out), though, I really didn't want to go anywhere. I'm just so exhausted. I'm lucky my mom let me get online, but I promised her I wouldn't be on late, and I really don't feel like staring at a screen for too long. I have to get up early tomorrow and go into the city with my mom. I'm gonna go so I can time out how long it'll take me to walk to Moore and exactly what entrance I need to go to and all that crap. Then I might go down to south street, since it's not very far, and look around for a back pack or something. I might go to Pearl art store, too, and look around at their sketch books. I want a 14 x 17, like Cresta suggested, so just in case I donm't have enough room in my other sketch book I can still use the new one and have the right size. I'm gonna see if I can find a good piece of material for a trap, too. I need to buy another clip set for the bottom of the bag. I figure I'll just use the clip that's already on the bag to clip the strap to, that way I can take it off if I don't need it.

I think I've gabbed enogh today. I'm just gonna go surf around on the internet for a while and check my e-mails. Ja na, all.

<lj:music>voices in my head... telling me to do bad things ^^</lj:music>

Once again! I was able to get online. My computer is being very nice to me *pets computer* ^^. I can't get into my e-mail for some reason today, though. Jadie-kins, I caught a glimpse of your e-mail... then my internet froze, so I didn't get to read it, but I saw it! Lol.. you can reply here. Live journal seems to work nicely.

I'm a little japanese obsessed today... can you tell? *points to subject* It says, (if the grammar is correct, remember, I taught myself) "Is your fruture death?". I dunno why I put that. I was just amused at all the japanese words I know...well, have available. They're all in my neat little book.. and then I have a book of Kanji stuff, too. I mainly get that from Shonen Jump, though. That reminds me.. I haven't read my new Shonen Jump yet! What blasphamy!

*dies* I have work today. Taylor Hospital is okay. At least I'm not running around a deli slicing lunch meat for people like I do at Pike's. OMG! Cass almost made me cut myself yesterday!! I was slicing cooper sharp cheese for some dude (good cheese, btw) and I turned to put the cheese on the scale and she just stepped right up to my slicer and started slicing herself some! I went to turn back, bumped into her, and almost put my damned hand on they slicer to catch my balance(the slicer was still -on-, mind you)! She pisses me off sometimes! Couldn't she have asked for a slice? I give her one every time she asks, so why couldn't she just -ASK-? Stupid old people. I think she should just quit. Then Ryan and I could split her register hours. It's funny. She refuses to let me touch the register when she's working (mainly because she thinks I don't know what I'm doing), but I honestly know more about the damned register than her! She forgets where all the buttons are, doesn't know how to reload the paper for the receits, and she always pushes the wrong buttons.

Okay.. I think I'm done my ranting for today. I gotta leave for work soon anyway. Gotta be up at the hospital by 3.

Alright. I know I haven't been here in a month, but that's because I haven't had internet in a month, so get over it. I might not be on for very long. My computer has been acting up on me, so I'm backing up all my important shit just incase my mom is forced to wipe our computer. I already have most of it done, but my computer was being a butt earlier. It's being nice now, so I am very greatful *pets computer nicely*. And I actually -did- pet my computer, for those of you who don't know me very well.

I might stop volunteering at Taylor. I'm getting wipped out already and I haven't even started Art school yet. At least right now I can sleep in for a while. But once school starts I'll be going non-stop from 9am til 7 or 8pm four days a week. Then I work the weekends, too, just shorter hours. I have Sunday off because of the holiday anyway, so I'm happy.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out! I got it done Friday, so I'm okay now. I just gotta keep my mouth all clean and wait for the stitches to disolve. I still can't eat chips or anything sharp, and I can't open my mouth wide enough to eat sandwiches yet. Oh well, I'll get over it.

I got a zip drive and disks for school. I need them to save some of the mulimedia stuff I'll be doing. I still have to make sure I understand the directions my mom gave me to the Moore campus. She kinda confused me, and I'm used to the city and can usually find my way. I know it's up by the Franklin Intitute, so I'll go up there and wonder, lol. I get to Suburban Station early enough to do such things. The zip drive is what I'm using to back up my stuff. They're awesome, and I recomend getting a Zip drive and a USB key *drools* to -anyone-! They are quite affordable compared to other overrated computer shit.

One last thing... Does anyone know where I can get some good layouts for this damned journal? I'm lazy, and there for don't feel like making my own. It would be awesome if they were anime ones ^^.

Ohoh! Bible Thumpers are attacking! Beware all nonreligious people(or just people who believe in another faith)! They corned poor Lilyanna at work and preached at her! And they figured out her address, which is down right -CREEPY-. So be on the lookout!

I am now officially a Skanky Pirate! Woohoo! Hopefully the Skanky Pirates will stick around for a while, because I came up with some really awesome merchandise for us to sell. They also declared me the designer for the logo, CD cover, T-shirts, pins, sticker, and all that jazz. I'm gonna start up a website soon (since I'll be taking a Flash media class and taking Graphic Design @ Moore this summer), and we'll probably start a livejournal, or something or other.

I got Drew's present!! I was very proud of myself. I actually thought of something to get him, and he'll wet himself over it ^^. I also got myself LOTR:ROTK (for $20!), the Wolf's Rain soundtrack, and japanese candy. I got cool ducky shoelaces for my Carolina Chuck Taylors. And, believe it or not, I still have money left! Plus, I worked Sat, Sun, and today, so I get paid for three days on Wednesday.

Damn it.. I have to get Lily a Graduation present, don't I. Grrr.. now I gotta think of what to get her. I hate buying for people. What do you want, Lily? Give me ideas! I wanted to save up my money for a lap top and digital camera, too.

Next year is gonna be lonely. Steve, Juli, Jenny, and a bunch of others will be close by. That is, if they're still planning on rooming at Juli's house.I just remembered that I won't see Ryan at work next year. Btw, I saw him yesterday..lol.

OMG! I don't remember his name, but he's a senior at Ridley and he came to my prom with Lauren (he sat at our table), I saw him a few days ago at Swiss Farms! Apparently he works there. If you want to know is name ask Drew, he knew him. He told the other guy that I was "dating the guy on the announcements", lol. Is that how I'm described? I had to show Beth and Ryan(the one I actually work with) Drew's picture before they realized who it was.

Well, I'm tying up my Grandma's phone line, so I'll beat it.

    <lj:music>Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper"</lj:music>

Bah! This week has been quite horrible. I've been so damned whiped out that I fell asleep sitting up on the floor this morning (I didn't have the energy to stand infront of my dresser and look for clothes).

To those of you wondering, I -am- still alive. My computer is still internet-less, thanks to my mom's utter lack of confidence in my ethernet card loading skills. Apparently she thinks I'll fuck the computer up, which is shit, because I know exactly what I'm doing, and she doesn't. I'm thinking about installing and loading it when she's still at work.

Help!! I can't figure out what the -hell- to get Drew for his graduation! He's so hard to buy stuff for.. little jerk! Be more buyer friendly! lol. I'm out of it. Completely loopy. Oh.. that reminds me.. I have to ask Dr. Gaspar when the next coffee house is..wait.. did I miss it? What month was it suppose to be in (we do it every-other month)?

Whatever. I don't have enough time to sing for it anyway. I got all the classes I wanted for next year, so far. I'm thinking about trying to get the hell out of gym. Though, I might just suck it up at take it, it's only for a semester anyway.

The fact that people are going to be going away to college soon is really starting to set in.. and it sucks! It takes away, like, almost all my friends! Not to mention my boyfriend (oh goddess, I'll probably cry).*Huffs*.

Time for a quiz to cheer things up:

Informationi

ScaryLady1327 is a restricted area.
